“Intimate and Revealing”: The Western Star Reviews Kirby Walsh’s A Trip to Labrador

“Kirby’s book is heart-rending, and it shows very explicitly the hardships that defined daily life for coastal inhabitants of Newfoundland and Labrador in the early twentieth century. Kirby’s book is engagingly readable and highly recommended … a revealing read for anyone interested in Labrador history.”

-Darrell Squires, The Western Star
